Villa Adelfa is a gorgeous country house located on the hills overlooking Almuñecar, at about 5 km from the coast. This area, named Pago Cantalobo, dominates the fertile valley 'Valle Tropical', region known for having the best climate in Europe. Actually nearly all tropical plants are able to grow here, including the custard apple, an exquisite fruit unknown elsewhere on the continent.

The Property

Villa Adelfa offers a vast terrace with large sunny pool and breathtaking views over the valley, the town of Almuñecar, the sea and the mountains of Sierra Nevada. The outside offers numerous open and covered relaxing areas, including a large stone barbecue with sink and a beautiful children playground at the back of the garden. Besides valuable equipment such as air conditioning and WiFi, Villa Adelfa offers overwhelming calm and privacy, all together in a wonderful environment. Like for most of the good places, the access requires a little bit of familiarity for mountain areas; however one gets this very fast! You will then fully appreciate the privilege of being far away, while actually very close to the coast and to the city of Almuñecar with its countless activities and services.

Access

The access has an unpaved section and then a number of bends, like most country houses in Andalucia. Although it might not be recommendable to persons whitout any experience in hilly areas, the road does not present any danger or difficulty and it is used daily by all types of vehicles. Also note that a bit of effort is often the price to pay for total quietness and unusual views!
