Cortijo Buena Vista is a two room traditional farmers house that has recently fully refurbished. Dominating the splendid valley 'Rio de la Miel', namely 'River of Honey', it offers breathtaking views to the surrounding mountains and to the sea.

While being situated in a totally preserved environment, Cortijo Buena Vista offers lots of comfort features, including air conditioning, satellite dish and WiFi. The house is located at only 15 minutes from the shore and about 20 minutes from Nerja and its many shops and services. The house has 11000 m2 grounds planted with a profusion of fruit trees: oranges, lemons, avocados, mangos, figs, custard apples ('cherimoyas') and prickly pears that visitors are free to eat. The landlord, a lady native of the area, will be happy to offer visitors, when available, fresh eggs from her hen house or freshly made bred from her traditional oven.

Rio de la Miel is a Nature Park; from the dominating roof terrace one might be able to spot some of the many wild animals living freely in Valley: wild goats, foxes, boars and a huge variety of birds. With the exception os Sundays, when a couple of neighbors come from town, calm is total, slightly disturbed by the whispering river in the valley. The surrounding mountains offer unlimited possibilities for walk/trekking, from one hour walks to whole day excursions. At 5km, the wonderful beach 'playa del Molino de Papel' - part of the Nature Park - is known for its very clean waters and rich water life.

Cortijo Buena Vista is surely one of the most special, and unforgettable places one can find in the whole region.

- Rentals all weekdays - minimum 5 days
- 20% on booking

Remarks

The access road has a number of bends, like any road in a mountain area, however it is fully, well maintained, totally safe and accessible to all vehicles. Further the pool is a small and cozy bassin of 300 x 200 x 150cm.
